Our 2-Day Intensive Training in Animal Assisted Therapy is as popular as ever and has been condensed to 2-Days!  We only come to Australia every 3 or so years, so please join us!

  • Are you curious about if doing AAT is for you?
  • Want to have a fun weekend with animals while learning how to work with them?
  • Are you ready to make a change that will help you stay fresh and motivated and help the people you work with

The Co-founder of Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado, Linda Chassman will be bringing her expertise to Australia for those interested in adding animals into their professional practice. Students come from all over the world to learn with professionals who work every day helping clients with the assistance of their many therapy animals.

This is a highly experiential workshop where participants will be working with several different species of animals. The emphasis is on mental health counseling and psychotherapy but professionals and students from many different disciplines in human services have found the workshop very helpful.

If you are in Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado’s Certificate Program in Animal Assisted Psychotherapy (or want to be!) and interested in adding this experiential training to your Certificate this Intensive training will give you the opportunity to develop and practice AAP skills with others in a fun, hands-on format with live animals. Students who have completed both the online coursework and the 2-day Intensive will have earned the CAAPII (Certificate of Education in Animal Assisted Psychotherapy with Experiential Learning).
