Our
Mission

Welcome to our nonprofit Community Mental Health Clinic that serves children, teens, adults, and families. Nestled on a serene 3 ½ acre ranch in Arvada, Colorado; our unique setting combines a beautiful urban ranch, skilled therapists, and over 30 rescued animals. Together, they create an extraordinary therapy environment that embodies our motto: Rescued Animals Rescuing People.

Through our counseling and training programs, Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado provides and promotes animal-assisted psychotherapy to facilitate healing for all people in need as well for the rescued animals.
