Our Training Intensives are designed for students, professionals, and anyone eager to explore the field of animal-assisted interventions and psychotherapy.

Most sessions are held at the Barking C.A.A.T. Ranch in Arvada, CO, providing a unique opportunity to learn and practice clinical skills alongside our resident therapy animals.

• Accessibility: There are no prerequisites; these intensives are ideal for those learning the fundamentals of animal-assisted work.

• Flexibility: Programs can be taken as a stand-alone training or integrated into our AAP Certification Program as a required experiential component.

• Hands-On Learning: Gain practical experience in a ranch setting with a variety of therapy animals.
